  1. Active memory is a personal organizer used as an application with MacOs 7 and later. It allows you to track personal, or group oriented information and to organize in time your projects or day to day actions.

  3. Active Memory has all the functions needed to define:

  5. - the type of activities,
  6. - their expiration date,
  7. - the eventual list of participants,
  8. - The alerts or events to take place at a given time, ...
  9.  
  10. Active Memory can import or export all your data to and from other applications. It gives you the possibility to define macros that are launched at a precise time. Using standard System 7 or 8 functionalities you can Publish&Subscribe data, get balloon-help, or launch AppleEvents at a set time and/or date.
  11. Active Memory can also be used for real-time communications on a network.

  21. *1      Drag the Active Memory Init icon from the disk on to your System Folder on your startup disk.
  22.         A message will ask you if you want this file to be copied in the Extension folder. Click on the OK button.

  24. *2      Copy the Active Memory Icon on your hard drive.

  26. *3      Restart your Macintosh.
  27.  
  28. Active Memory is also available in French.

  40. Active Memory needs a registration key to function fully. You may still use the "Lite" version without a key but some functionalities are limited
